I'm new here to the site, but I've been around the block a time or two. I've been an AR and .45 1911 guy for a long time and spent quite a while working for Uncle Sugar and walking the thin blue line.
A few weeks back I picked up a Remi 700 5R 20" Milspec with AAC threading, put a couple boxes through it and was really impressed. Well, as fate would have it, I happened to see a like new GAP Cutstom on GB and jokingly threw a bid which I expected to be much lower than that actual reserve. You could believe my shock when I met the reserve, and over the course of 3 days only had one person attempt to outbid me. Well holy crap, I won!
In about a week I'll have a less than year old, brand new, (30 rounds through it per the owner), 22" 5R Bartlain fluted, Badger Ord loaded, GAP in my possession! Man am I stoked! Right now I have a Leupold Mk4 LRT on the Remi and I considering trading the whole lot in for some new glass for my GAP, but I haven't decided for sure.
The photos I've seen show this baby to be mint and I can't wait to get her! Seller even provided me with an original order form so I could see all the specs. Did I mention I was excited! And now I just heard about this place called Rifles Only and found out I only live about 2.5 hours from it! How many MOA is that?!?
