New gun for X-Mas

I was wondering if anyone owns or has got the chance to shoot the new Bushmaster Adaptive Combat Rifle(ACR). I am looking for a good in depth review on it but even dilikes or problems will be helpful. I want to get one for X-Mas but I can't find many good unbiased reviews on it. As always i'm open to suggestions on any other rifles, in the same price range of course, but please try to stick with assault rifles.

I have a friend that has one, and while i've shot it once or twice, I'm really not familiar with it. That said, it was ok, but I wouldn't bother buying it. For the price of an ACR, you could get a good AR style rifle with optics.

Try the Semi auto section, you can also run a search using the custom search in the Right side under the Shout Box and the sponsor square.

Thank you both for your quick responses. I'm going to search the Semi auto section on this site and some other ones like you said Inogame and BFMF i'll definitely look into your idea as it seems much more economic and because I hadn't even thought of the optics. Guess I just got a little ahead of myself there.
