Hey guys I'm new to the site so I thought I would introduce myself. I've been reading through the forum for about a year now and I figured I'd join. My name is Drew. I'm originally from Washington state but I just moved to Arizona to attend school at Universal Technical Institute. I love everything to do with guns. particularly bolt action rifles. I look forward to learning everything I can from all of you guys. I do a lot of hunting and I plan on eventually having my main hunting rifle rebarelled and built for long distance shooting once I have gained the skills and knowledge required to push the limits of my rifle. I look forward to learning as much as I can from you guys. Thank you

UTI is a good tech school, good choice 
Here in the desert, drink LOTS of water. ALL the time... get into the habit, carry a water bottle with you everywhere you go. Sunscreen, hand lotion, chap-stick... also necessary provisions for outdoor activities when the weather is 110*+ with single-digit humidity. I'm not trying to sound like a girlyman, but some folks have a hard time adjusting to the dry heat. Consider buying a good quality EZ-up (or equivalent); being able to cop some shade while out shooting in the desert can make all the difference between being miserable to an awesome day of shooting

Yeah I learned very fast to carry water with me everywhere I go and to watch that sun. I went to lake pleasent and fried worse then I ever have before. And i haven't even experienced summer yet. Lol and thanks everyone for the advice.
