Range Report New Howa range report

Howa 1500 in 6.5 Creedmoor 24 inch barrel with Hellfire muzzle brake and timney trigger
Atacr 5x26,MPA chassis
loaded a bunch of 140gr eld at 41.5 GR of h4350 just to break in barrel ,sight in and just get a feel for the rifle.

The gun shoots Awesome!
The velocity is at 2590 which is ok with the load I’m using, after I get 100rds through it will do load testing expecting load will be around 43grs.
wind was right to left on the 388 yard target.

I think so the only issue I hate the bolt handle to close to the scope(old design) have new mod coming.
Hoping to get more time this weekend to feed it more.
It’s amazing the price of these barreled actions are and they shoot Awesome.

I have a 308 howa 1500 and it shoots excellent. They are good choices to get into the sport. And with pre-fits being even more common, they are good choices all around. If I ever burn this 308 out, I'm going to spin on something more fun, like a 6gt or whatever hotness out by then.

load testing found node from 42 -42.5 h4350 140gr eld coal 2820
went with 42.2 mv 2760 sd of 9 (around 32 F) for now want to put more rounds down barrel assumping the barrel will speed a bit.
going to try 42.4 later.

The knob.
It’s the old style non removable it runs really close to Atacr 5x25 scope.
(In the process to change it to a Area 419 knob)
