new member and looking to learn more on precision shooting out to 1,000 yards. Any members here from PA? Mostly central PA? Mifflin County Sportsman Association isn’t to far from me.

the one shown above and then ridgeway has a 1000 yard+ range too.
But i would recommend talking to some local farmers that have their cropland in the PA Farm trust (can never be developed) and see if you can get access to set steel targets up along the hedgerows or other spots that won't be in their way. That way you aren't always at the same distance/location and can really learn some wind readings and field craft. They will likely let you shoot ground hogs to your hearts content too.
This is what I have done for years, and if there's thousands of acres to do this on around me in Westmoreland county, I'm certain you have even more out that way. Endless expanses of trustee farmland in the center of the state.

Welcome from Shippensburg. The fish & game, locally, has targets to 800. It’s a nice range, with limited member use, outside of lead up to deer season. Keep your eye on their website. They usually open membership this time of year.
Welcome. I’m new here too but I used to have some friends up in your area. They had a farm off Nealman Rd where they raised whitetail deer.

Mason Dixon prs has beginners match in April held at mifflin. Highly recommend it.
