Guy's,

I ordered this bad boy over three months ago, and she finally came in this week. KAC SR-15 Light Precision Rifle, with a Krieger 18" 1-7" SS barrel, and the new Stainless trigger. Feels nice, and will improve with some 77 grain sierra's flying downrange! I can't wait! Enjoy some free gun porn. Tell me what you think.

Hello,

I just received mine yesterday at it is incredibly light. Did you receive a test target card indicating accuracy? What break in process are you planning for the stainless steel barrel?

Thanks in advance...

Connan1, I haven't even looked at what else it came with. Just the rail panels I looked at for 2 seconds. I am planning on loading a 20 round mag full, and shoot at a target 200 yards out to sight in my scope. I wouldn't say rapid fire, but not shoot one and clean either. It isn't a benchrest gun so I will not treat it as such. It isn't a M249 either. I will be using this as a coyote, target, practical rifle match, and defense gun. It is a very nicely ballanced rifle though. Range report to follow........J

They didn't tell you? I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those aren't allowed in Washington State.

The good news, and fortunately for you, we've caught this in time, and I can arrange for proper transfer of this dangerous assault firearm bullet hose to a dealer in my State, one of the few that fears its citizens enough to know better than to interfere with their guns.

Send me a PM so you can save yourself possible imprisonment, guaranteed legal fees that will make a Knight's purchase look like vending machine money, and all the misery associated with what's about to happen to you. Normally I charge a nominal fee to rid my friends like you of the headache associated with these types of problems, but in the hard economic times we find ourselves in, I think the barter system is more appropriate. With that in mind, I think your soon-to-be outlawed sniper murder scope will suffice.

Ok, let's talk about shipping fees. I don't normally do this, but seeing as how you have a quick-to-conceal assassin's sniper scope mount, meant for hiding in brief cases before a mass shooting, I'll cave in and let you barter that to cover the Fedex or UPS service.

PM me for details before the worst happens, and you lose it altogether. Ask anyone here. You'll never see an offer like this again.

can anyone chime in on the weight comparison between the mod1 and mod1 LPR? is there a noticeable difference in how they balance from one another?

I've got a mod 0 now and a mod 1 enroute (courtesy of cliffs group buy, thanks much brother...) my thought is to set up my new mod 1 as a 3 gun/comp run & gun with a tr24G I got on standby. Regardless, I've grown to love the SR-15 platform.... I feel my mod 0 is plenty accurate for my speed shoots and the light weight platform lends itself to standing off hand shots.

congrats on the LPR, she's a beauty.

I have been online looking at these and some come with a black trigger and some have a stainless one. Is there any difference between the two other than material?

Mod 1 weighs 6.6 lbs
LPR weighs 7.38 lbs

I shot the LPR today. Southwest 77gr ammo, and held 1" at 100. A few groups went into 3/4, but I am no benchrester. I had limited time today, but plan on shooting her in the next local match. Will keep everyone posted. My chrono said 2740 FPS average for all shots. J
