New LAR upper

So, I ruined the upper on my RRA ar-15 varmint rifle last year,(long story) and have been meaning to repair/replace it since. Well it turns out that I have a great neighbor across the street that happens to be one of the designers for LAR Grizzly, and after looking at a couple of their fine rifles, I decided to jump in and buy a new upper from him.
OPS4 precision operator 20 inch 1-8 twist threaded for my can.mounted the Mark4 4.5-14X50 on it and cant wait to shoot it this weekend, Thanks a million to Mildotz

Are the LAR receivers only available through LAR or do they have distributors?

You can get them through a varity of places, DPMS stocks them. There are others on the net or you can get them direct through LAR.
