I have for sale a sequential serial number set of Remington M24 actions. These actions are new, never built on complete assemblies minus the trigger and Remington recoil lug. I will include a .250 titanium lug. Both of these are magnum bolt face. I am asking 1800.00 shipped to your FFL. I’m kinda partial to certain trades so do t hesitate to hit me up, worst I can say is no. USPS money order or certified check only please. Shipping to the lower 48 only. My price includes insured shipping.

Easy, these are M24 actions. Very hard to get, especially in an un-built on state. Desirable, collectible, and rare, especially a sequential serial number set. To better answer your question though, essentially there is nothing different than a standard chromoly 700 other that these come with 8-40 optic base holes from factory.

Just out of curiosity, what makes these better than a standard r700 action.
Great question. I wondered about that sorta thing too. Everything the OP said is spot on from the little information available on these and I looked at everything remotely relevant. No place sells the action itself. You can purchase the entire rifle at eurooptic complete with a commemorative serial number. The eurooptic gun is nice but they’re not like any current or past military version. They lack the proper barrel and muzzle device. I shouldn’t say nothing like because they are stamped m24 actions and I believe the stock is the same as the older m24s.
Because of those obvious differences and lack of availability they are rare. The appreciation of our military rifles makes them desirable. IMO All of those things combined make them very collectible. If you doubt it try to find another place or person that will sell a pair with sequential serial numbers.
IMO they’re worth every penny. I only wish I had the money for a couple of m24 actions at this time.

As someone who has done a lot of business with RemCustom i can fully vouch for him, and what he says. For your average guys these are expensive 700 actions. For a cloner looking to slowly build an M24, these are a rare gem and a great buy. I purchased mine from him and I couldn't be happier with it

The XM2010 was going to be my focus for a build with these actions. Trouble is, finding the RACS chassis. The post above is absolutely correct in saying the Army wanted to be able to upgrade to the 300 win mag.

ahh ok, forgot about the big bore chassis guns.

I'd be interested in paying the premium for a std BF m24 action if you can get your hands on one

Sometimes you gotta take what you can get to finish parts out. Once completing a build, you could choose to finish it however you want. Parkerized, Rem Tough, blue, Cerakote, you name it. Just all depends on the what the end user wants. Finishes can always be changed.
