New Mc3 Stocks

Has anyone got there hands on a new mc3 stock yet? If so what do you think of it and if u haven’t what good or bad have you heard about it? I know McMillan is making them and they are made of a glass filled polymer and are decently priced but that’s about it.

I got to handle one right after shot show. They feel very stout and rigid. Overall was impressed with the feel.

The one I saw looked like the bedding area was no different than any factory polymer stock however, no aluminum or vblock that I could see.

Kelly said it could be easily bedded with epoxy.

Good to hear. I suppose I need to get one ordered. They are supposed to ship at the end of this month. I didn’t figure McMillan would make or associate with a turd product

I wonder if there is any chance they will come out with a tikka inlet. I would like one of there hunter stocks for my T3x.

I haven’t seen any plans for it but I’m sure if it goes over well they will expand the line

I sure hope these are a success. I'm interested in getting one of the carbon fiber models when they are available.

I got an email back from a zev nadler from McMillian saying they are starting to ship the mc3 stocks at the end of this month.

I think KRG and the slow rollout killed the interest in these stocks.

I will have a LEGEND DELUXE PLUS BLACK CARBON FIBER DBM in a couple of weeks. Won a 50% cert and figured I will give it a try.

My MC3 Legend CF came in today. First impressions of the stock are good and feel nice in the hands. Reminds me of the HS stocks that come on higher end Remington and Savages. The polymer DBM is another story. It seems to have a lot of flex and the mag release is super stiff. I’ll wait till I have an action in it before making the final verdict.
