Finally got this sucker done!

Got the barreled action back from the smith Tuesday, took it out to the range today. I didn't have too much time since I was playing with the new S&W Shield, so I was only able to sight it in. I'm going to try and head back out Sunday and do a ladder test. Initial 5 shot group was very promising. I switched from the 142 SMK I was shooting previously, to the 140 Hornady A-Max in this incarnation.

Components as follows:

Mcree chassis Cerakoted in Patriot Brown. I really like this color, I'm going to get the S&W Shield Cerakoted in Pat Brown soon. Cerakoting done by On-Target Customs. Greg has phenomenal customer service and an extremely quick turn-around.

Phoenix Custom Rifles Phoenix Knob hollowed. They also installed the brake and did the Cerakote on the Barreled action.

Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP Mil/Mil

American Precision Arms Little Bastard brake. Unparalleled brake, and I've tried quite a few. Recoil is non-existent! My .243 will be redone with a Little Bastard soon.

Atlas Bipod

Alpha 308 mag

Magpul MOE grip

Seekins 30mm rings. Best rings out there, hands down!

Triad Tactical's stock pack. Very modular and comfortable. I like it more than the Tac-Ops.

I still need to acquire a SSS trigger.

Enough talk! Pics!
