Hello everybody. I'm a new member from central Texas. Work is finally allowing me to get back to shooting more often and so I joined here. I competed in high school and college, but it's just been a bunch of elk hunting for the last 15 years. Hoping to get back to competing soon. ELR is what I enjoy most, and have several rifles that I've pushed past the one mile point. I've even run my subsonic .300BLK to 1,000m and my 1911 past 500.

Ocala is pretty nice. I spent over a month there a couple years ago for work. My only complaint was the humidity.
Sorry to hear it. It's not bad. I came for the job and have been here for 17 years now. It's close enough to other larger cities and halfway between the gulf and the Atlantic.

I know you said central Texas. I use to live in San Antonio and Killeen. Even lived in Lubbock.

New guy here in central Arkansas, first post. The information available here is awesome. Just an older guy trying to navigate all this technology and absorb some knowledge. Getting back into long range shooting after thirty years of work, family and paying the bills. I think I have much to learn as much has changed from when I hand loaded and enjoyed varmint hunting.

You new/low post count dudes need to re-read the forum policy on post count for PX access. I assume that’s why you’re digging up intro threads and posting nothing but “welcome.” PX access requires 100 or more posts of quality input. “Welcome” spammed into every post in the first five pages of the intro subforums won’t do anything for you aside from annoy the rest of us using the “new posts” feature. :ROFLMAO:

If you would have noticed before you had to smart off I only posted welcome to people close to my area and also been in here for 3 years if I wanted my count up I could have done it years ago. But thanks for your unwelcome input.
