Hello, my name is Ryan and I am getting into marksmanship. The two guns I have now are a Ruger 22, and a Remington 700 BDL. I am not a very experienced shooter, but over the past few weeks I have spent more than 10 hours researching gun component and techniques. Over this time many questions that I have had, have led me to this sight and I signed up because I have some questions I couldn't really find the answers to yet. Right now I am building a sniper rifle out of my 700 BDL, and the components I am currently interested in are:

Action - Remington 700 BDL
Bullet - Berger 180 grain target
Barrel - Krieger strait 1.25 SS, 9 twist.
Stock - Cholate tactical long action
Scope - swfa super sniper 5-20x50hd ffp
Anything not mentioned - factory

There is a section on here, snipers hide online training, which has been a great way to learn proper shooting techniques. Its 10 bucks per month, but for someone like me who works weekends and cannot catch classes and or meets.

And plenty of assholes that will be degrading and condescending and try to make you look like a complete idiot when you ask a question. Just ignore them, they suffer from LDS and get their kicks trying to make other people look stupid. (I am not referring to you Cornholeo, just borrowing your text) Dont be afraid to call them out for being asses.

The snipers hide online training is money well spent for someone new. There is some good info here between all the BS.
