Hey there guys. Thought I’d swing by and say hi from New Zealand. Have just about finished building a 6.5prc (my first rifle build where is did all the machining myself) and was looking up load data and stuff and started haveing a look round and joined up.
Have been playing round with abit off long range shooting for the last couple off years and there is a wealth off knowledge in here that I might be able to tap into.

I remember a number of years ago NZ hosted a long range shoot on the South Island.

This shoot was getting very popular, with Aussies making the trip to NZ.

If I remember correctly New Caledonia also hosted a LR shoot.

What ever happened to the shoot?

It may off been the vortex mountain challenge, if it is they are still running it every year. Have quite a few aussies coming over for it and mike Perkins and Dennis vanacker (cross hairs long range hunting instructors) usicome over every year to compete and run a couple off there shooting schools( have done there course a couple off time now and can highly recommend it).
