G’day all, new member in the hide, though I’ve been lurking for a while and watching on YouTube. Have been hunting and shooting since I was a young kid but just getting into hitting steel at distance. No competition stuff yet, I’m on a 13,000 acre property and just hang off cuts of steel all shapes and sizes anywhere and everywhere. Anyway I’m looking forward to getting some info off the hide in the future and learning myself on this game. Cheers.

I only wish I got on board a few years ago when I started dabbling and buying gear, might have saved some coin. Unfortunately I’d have to win lotto to own the property too, I’ve been working for the owner for 15 years so have open access to the property.
Welcome to the forum! Are you familiar with the YouTube channel " Mark and Sam after work"? They're in western OZ and do some incredible long range shooting.
Yeah I’ve been following them for a while they do some incredible shooting alright. He’s a car guy too and builds some awesome street cars. I believe the gunsmith he uses for a lot of his work, Nick from ignition customs is going for a 5000m shot soon, he wants 3 hits in 10 rounds, but I haven’t heard if he’s achieved this yet.
