Hey everyone!

I'm a new member from the treasure coast of Florida. I'm currently an active duty LEO for a local sheriff's office, and serve in our training unit. I've lurked the pages here for quite some time and figured it was beyond time I became a member and started contributing. I'm currently a FDLE general instructor and firearms instructor, and assist our local police academy with basic recruit training programs.

Coming from the pistol and 3 gun world I'm learning a lot from you guys. My hope is to put together a build and start working my way to 1,000 and beyond.

I typically shoot at Port Malabar because I really enjoy their action area and 600 yard range, but I’ve been to OKSS and always found it nice too.

We are lucky. Lots of good ranges in our area.

I’ve heard good things about Malabar, never been. Unfortunately, manatee gun range has apparently gone downhill a bit, had some issues and closed their 1000yd range.

I did hear some grumbling about JTac Ranch possibly opening soon, one can only hope been a long time coming.

Welcome. I'm up near Tampa and dealing with Manatee while crossing my fingers for JTAC Ranch to come to fruition.

Indeed I am. JTAC has taken a lot longer to get started than anyone thought it would. This may have worked in JTAC's favor though as the decline of Manatee has LR shooters looking for alternatives.
