Where are they located? I would love to come up if you know where some good dog towns are.... I have one on a state section south of wheatland.

I'm good friends with quite a few ranchers up here and most of em are telling me that the prairie dogs are really thin this year. Good for ranchers but bad for people like us that wanna murder some.
yea there are some ok sections around glenrock with okay dogs, the good spots are on ranches and most of the time you need permission. both of those competitions are held on the wagon hound ranch. you can go to competition dynamics and get info on the burris optics challenge. and vortex website has the info on their website for the on in the fall.

My wife and I owned Signe's Restaurant in Casper back in 1989 and I worked out at the Amoco Oil Refinery. I hunted all over the state for Pronghorn, Mule Deer, and Elk. If you contact ranchers and work with them you can find some fantastic places to hunt but you have to be willing to do some ranch chores to get in good with them. I hunted places few ever saw because I grew up country and understood how to treat people and their property!
Treat everyone like family and like their property is your families' property made out of gold. Do that and you will be amazed what will open up to you.
