Hunting & Fishing New Mexico Elk/ Bear Pics added

[A10XRIFLE]

Got this Fine NM Elk on Sunday afternoon. He is 300-310'ish. Shot was nothing spectacular, 150 yards offhand shooting uphill. dropped him with a 7mm WSM with 180 bergers doing 2900 ish. High Shoulder Spine Shot. Got a Nice Bear as well. But Kent Jr will have to post that pic as I was without my camera when we hiked off for the Bear.

I hear there are some Big Bulls and Muleys in the Glasgow Montana area. Hmmmm may have to find somone to take me.

here is mine, 338 RUM w/ 275 gr. SWAF @ 2825, through the tree shot at 80 yards

packing mine out

george's bear, much bigger than pictures show, 450 lbs.!!

my dad's elk, 338 Win Mag, 225 gr TSX, shocked the spine and the elk layed down dead for 15 minutes then got up and ran down the hill another 200 yards til he finished off again...

A bear, with a wheel gun...... I would never do that. I could not bring myself to go hunting one with just a pistol, couldn't do it.
