Tactical Team Match Program
Match Description: This match is designed to test the overall skills of a Two-Man Team as they engage targets with a pistol, Carbine and Tactical Rifle. The Team will need to work together in an organized manner to maximize their score on targets ranging from 15 yards to 1000+. This course will be timed as an element of the score. The team will gain points from each target hit and loose points for any target not engaged. Special instructions at stage will direct the engagement of the targets on that stage. The teams will follow a 1000+ yard trail through the desert to find their targets of engagement in 8 challenging stages.
Course of Fire:
• Two Teams (Squad) will travel together through the course. One team will RO as the other team shoots the stage. Rotation between stages.
• There will be 8 stages along a 1000+ yard trail.
• Each Squad will start at a different stage and rotate up the trail. When they get to stage #8 they will move to stage #1 and finish the course. Do not skip a stage or move to a stage out of order.
• Each stage will present a different set of targets. The team will need to first find the targets and range them. They will then need to plan their order of engagement. This plan will need to be shared with the RO/Spotter/Scorer.
• Only one team member may shoot at a time. The first shooter show clear before the second shooter can load and make ready.
• Unless otherwise stated at the stage, the order of engagement will be Pistol, Carbine and then Rifle. Each shooter will engage the pistol targets separately and then engage their designated long range targets.
• Each stage may not utilize all weapons. Ex: Carbine shooter engages Pistol while Rifle shooter engages Rifle targets. Next stage Carbine shooter engages carbine targets while Rifle shooter engages pistol targets. Next stage may not have pistol targets at all and each shooter engages rifle targets. The following stage may have all targets available for engagement.
• Team members may spot and help their partner as they engage their particular targets.
• The course is timed for the amount of time you spend on each stage and not in transportation between stages.
• Any specific stage requirements will be posted at the entrance to that stage. Ex: Shooting Position Limitations, Target Order, etc.
Match Safety Procedures: The course will be run as a Cold Range. Rifles will move from stage to stage with the bolts open and Magazines removed. Pistols will be holstered with hammer down on an empty chamber. Firearms may only be loaded under the supervision of an RO at the firing line as they prepare to engage a stage.
Scoring:
• Each Stage is timed from the instant a Team enters the stage until the team leaves the stage with all their equipment.
• Tactical Rifle: 30 points for each first hit on a Target. 15 points for a hit on a follow-up shot. Only two attempts allowed per target.
• Carbine: 10 point for each hit on Target. Two hits allowed on each target. (20 points-Max/target). Unlimited rounds/target
