New Precision Dremel w/4th axis

Hey Guys,

Thought you might like a pic of the new Haas Toolroom Mill. It has a nice 4th axis for rotary work. Practice piece of aluminum in place for the maiden voyage. Now I just have to pay for it.

The machine is the cheap part. Its tooling that is expensive.

Nice! We bought a couple VF-4 gear drive mills here about 5 years ago. Haas makes a well-priced product and the options and accessories aren't as bad compared to some other manufacturers. One spends half the year hogging 17-4PH heat treated stainless slugs and asks for more. You'll pay that thing off in no time with the increased productivity!

Hah, we have the same 5C head except ours is 15+ years old (from an old VF-2) and red. Only maintenance is topping off the gear oil and an annual flush. Don't recall ever having a problem.with it.
