New project Question 6.5 creedmoor Ma-ten

Well guys built the ar10 in 308 now I want to build a 6.5 creedmoor couple of questions. Hunting big game and hopefully 1000yrd shooting purpose no competitions just buddies trying to hit stuff at that range. To be built on Mega MaTen platform with Proof research barrel I think unless you guys talk me out of it.

1) barrel maker (want to be light cant find much info about them on here)
2)barrel length
3)barrel twist
4)gas system length

Building and researching parts is most of the fun for me, big kid Legos. Next comes reloading and shooting stuff. Cost is a concern but not much of one, more value of somthing I like to shoot, is accurte, and I built with parts I chose.

Working on the same project myself, the Fulton Armory by Criterion 6.5 CM match barrels in 24" come highly recommended. 1:8 twist.
