Meh.... Lightweight and streamlined rifle, mags easily accessible on my body, can easily get to my bolt latch when necessary, all of which has worked well for me so far. I'll pass.

I was of this thinking for quite a while. I got a Redi-mod (Redi-mag with material removal by BFG) in a partial trade. I certainly believe that this product DOES have it's place among certain circles, but it certainly isn't for everyone. Anyone who has a need for a grab-and-go rifle (LE's) should give this consideration over a mag clamp if one wants to have 2 mags always at the ready.

Might do better over on ARFCOM with this. This seems like a solution trying to find a problem honestly. Its amazing how quick a reload can be made with a single mag on rifle and rest on the chest. Especially by someone well trained and practiced.....

This product has been around a while in some form or another but still not a MUST have item ..

I agree this is not for everybody. However I believe there is defiantly applications where they are great, i.e. PATROL RIFLE.... at least you leave the car with Two Mags no matter what!

I haven't tried one of these yet but like the concept. From the picture though, it sure looks like it turns getting to the bolt release into a fine motor skill. For those that use these, is there something I'm missing?
