I wanted a local smith to build my rifle and ran across this guy, Chad Stanley, who runs Titan Long Range Weapons in Fort Worth. I couldn't really find many references but after talking to him for a while decided to let him build the rifle and it seems to have worked out well.

I was able to get it out to the range but was rained out pretty quick. Here are the first two groups out of the gun after 5 shots to get it on paper.

This is my first 338LM so I"m hoping to get some loads tested next week and with a little practice keep everything under .5 moa. If all goes well I should be able to stretch its legs and I will post the results when I have them.
The attention to detail on the rifle is as it should be for a custom and Chad kept me up to date to include sending me pictures of the build in progress. Anyone looking for a smith in the DFW area, it might be worth while to give him call.
Cheers,
John
Edit, I don't know why the pictures are cutting off but it has a painkiller brake on the end.
