I know it’s been beat like a dead horse but I’m not asking for a break process. What’s everyone’s opinion on how to go about starting a new load in a new rifle. Is it better to start out mild for the first 50 or so and then start to develop a load or just start hot break it in and then fine tune

I shoot factory for the first 100 rounds to get it broken in, then start load development. Gives me a good baseline for velocity and see what bullet weight it likes. Your barrel will speed up around 100 rounds-ish, maybe 150.
Guess it depends on your cartridge and if you already have brass. If not and can get a case of ammo with the brass you wanna run kill a couple birds then start load development.
