So I'm picking up my new Springfield Armory TRP with the light rail tomorrow and I need suggestions on a light for it and a holster for outside the waistband carry.

X300 and Safariland, Tripp mags are my prefernce but I have some Wilsons that do fine in my TRP.

some say springfields dont like wilson followers, mine didnt have a problem with them, it liked mccormicks too. surefire is overpriced in my opinion, id go tlr-1. raven concealment.
Youre not going to try and conceal this in arizona are you?

i love mine! I need to spend more time with it. I've been using a serpa holster and i've been running wilson and the 10 round mccormick magazines.

No not for concealed carryl, home defense gun and shooting in the desert with friends. I have a little glock for concealed in Arizona. Almost always in shorts here.

My TRP is getting a barrel fit and threaded at SA right now. In the meantime, I have a IWB/OWB rig and Mag unit coming from Rocky at Pure Kustom.
BTW, running the X300 on mine. Rocky has the pattern for the combo on the rig. Check it out. Rocky builds one heck of a rig. http://www.purekustomholsters.com/

Ok got the pistol in hand, would post pics, but most of you guys have one and know what they look like anyway.
Went with the TLR light 160 lumen with the strobe feature, and ordered 4 10 round Mcormick mags.
Still looking at holster options, but pretty sure I want this gorgeous pistol in some nice leather. I'm thinking C-5, or one of the other custom holster makers that was suggested.
I will probable only have the light on it at night at home. So I'm thinking the holster need not fit the light, just the rail??

Just FYI I had the 10 round McCormick mags for my TRP. I used them in USPSA matches. After about a year I had to replace the springs, they had worn out. This was with shooting matches about every weekend. You will love your TRP, mine has always run flawlessly.

Wilson mags are my favorite. The 10 round chip & mcCormick would not fit. Test your before you buy any. I don't guest them, but just a thought, in case you were looking.

Shot my TRP yesterday at the range, put 150 rounds through it ran flawlessly. Amazing shooting .45
Going to meet with Rocky tomarrow from Pure Performance custom holsters on a IWB and or OTW band holter. Lucky for me he lives right here in Arizona.
Cant wait to shoot the weapon again.

If you want 10 round mags that work great use the chip mccormick power plus mags. Works great in mine.

The holster is a Black Ops Pro ITW or OTW carry from Pure Performance Customs. Super nice quality holster. Lots of adjustment options.

I have the same pistol and i went with the surefire X300 for about 190 shipped if you look for it you can find that price on ebay also. I really like that set up holster wise see what the guys recomed above
