New Stock

I just ordered my new stock today and I’m super excited about getting it put on and take it to the range. My Rem 700 heavy-contoured barrel .308 was a 1 moa-sub moa gun already but with the new aluminum bedded chassis I'm excited to see what it can do. I'm also going to start reloading, so that will help also. This is a pic of the stock i picked up. It’s called the Ultimate Sniper Stock made by Choate. If anyone else has this stock please let me know how yall like it?!? Thank you!

Should be an improvement for you. I noticed when I went from the factory stock that it made the rifle consistent. I could shoot .5 MOA groups with reloads somedays with the factory stock. Going to an aluminum bedded stock made it a .5 MOA stock everyday.

They don't get much love, but they work VERY well.

I hope you were able to torque the action into the stock as it is an inportant step in ensuring repeatable accuracy.

The website said torque it down to 50 inch pounds and that i will do!

I know it has a aluminum bedding block but did you bed it?
Have heard that bedding will help as well.

I i havent bedded it but will do some research and may try it one day.

This one doesn't have a Remington barreled action but he seemed to do well with the Choate stock.
