One more thing if you havnt already I would post this at Rimfirecentral.com in the savage section I'll bet you'd get a shitload of intrest off those guys theres a huge nimber of them looking for osmething like this for a savage

I am looking at pulling the trigger on a MkII. If I do I will definitely want to replace the stock with something closer to my big rifle.

I was stoked about the 10/22 stock, but the more I looked at it the less sense it made since I would have to do quite a bit of work to get a 10/22 to shoot as consistently as the MkII seems to be able to.

I say, ditch the rear hook, its to close to the pistol grip anyhow, and it MUST come in left handed stock options.

The Savage rimfire sales great due to the fact there are lefty actions in the mix.

BTW,

I never order B&C stocks due to the fact a left handed shooter is a after thought.

Why would a stock maker not offer lefty's is counter productive to there business I feel. Three pages at midway USA and not one left handed stock. What crap!!!!

+1 for the Savage MKII.

I'm in the market for a stock, but I don't want to put a laminate on my FV. This would be perfect.

Is someone actually going to pitch the idea to B&C or are we sitting around hoping that they're watching this thread?

Last I heard they were discussing on what new stocks to build. They are considering the Mark II as one of these. And yes, they are watching this thread as well...

Ok fellas, was waiting to post the activity on this project, but looks as I need to step in now.

Sorry bubb, but really wanted to give a date of completion. Unfortunitly, we have been extremely busy and OEM projects have priority.

I will try and step in more often and keep you guys updated.

Customer input and request is paid att'n to on our end in great detail. Unfortunitly it is hard to jump on every project at once.

One thing that can speed up the process, or tends to help anyway is to write a short e mail to [email protected] with the requests in this tread. Mention the Hide, and you call name on here.

Thanks a million for the interest fellas, and hang tight. I am pushing on getting this project going.

Gunner, just out of curiosity is there some sort of numerical value (expected number to be sold) needed before deciding to put a stock into production? Would preorders help get this moving?
