Lately, I have been bothered by tiny, black ants congregating around both sink areas...I placed baits out (and they laughed), so today hooking up a PestOffense electronic device that once plugged into a 110v outlet, a signal works through the electrical wiring designed to irritate the nervous system of pests. Made in India. xray9

Did it work?

Recently I had an invasion of those teeny tiny red ants. I kept killin them, and they kept coming back... So I decided to let 'em live, so that they could go back to their nest, and tell the others there ain't shit in my apartment!

It worked, and no more ants! lol

Re: New technology vs ants...........

I've always used grits and diatonomous earth at their entry points, to me it works better than any of the expensive solutions and it won't hurt your pets.

been there, tried that, bugs laughed at them in my experience.

thank god my set cost me under $20. it was a cheap lesson to learn. I wish you better luck with yours. as noted diatomacious earth can do wonders. Ring your home in it (a 6-8" wide swath) and get any points you see them traveling on and it'll do more than the plug in and make a 'unique frequency' type devices.

Re: New technology vs ants...........

I had a problem with black ants in my old house here in PA. Found an old popsicle in the freezer one day and put it in the sink and forgot about it overnight.

Next morning, my sink looked like a 50's B-movie.

I sprayed bug killer outside, didn't do shit.

So being the cunning antagonist I am, I left more sweet shit in the sink for them again and found out they were coming in a space in the molding around the kitchen door near the sink.

$20 in bug sprays - nothing
$3 tube of caulk and problem solved

Re: New technology vs ants...........

Day One results: Since installing, I have only seen three ants, whereas before, I may have sent a hundred to ant heaven with a size 12 shoe. The objective here is not to harm, rather discourage their forays into my living area. xray9

DAY FIVE Report,

Just like many reviews said, it doesn't work & sure looks that way. Ants every day now, so have gone to traditional spray methods but at least I gave the system a try.......xray9

Re: New technology vs ants...........

There are low does poison drops that you can place on their trails. The low dose gives them time to take the poison back to the colony and feed it to the queen, in about a week the colony will collapse.

That sums up my dating advise. Put some caulk in the hole and everything is alright! Somtimes it takes persistance to get there. Lol
