The XR5 is a very good tube. Just not the worlds best night vision technology.
On par with US Omni V gen 3. Great tubes but they are not cheap. Good for guys outside the US who have no other options. In the US you have ITT and L3 tubes which are cheaper and perform better under most circumstances.
