new tikka prep?

k thanks,

so I don't need to disassemble the bolt, clean and lube it? just clean the barrel and that's it.

I have had more than a few light strikes in my .308 CTR with factory Hornady ammo...that works on the second try. When I googled it, there was a video about disassembling and cleaning grease out of the striker assembly. For a variety of reasons, I haven’t got around to it yet to let you know if it works, but something to keep in mind.

I'd clean the bolt as well (one of mine was pretty gummed up with grease). takes all of 30 secs and an allen wrench (or some other small metal rod) to disassemble the bolt. Almost as easy as an AI...
