I'd recommend a Super Sniper 10x42MM HD about $799. only from SWFA. It has 38 total Milrads of elevation adjustment, giving you about 19 Milrads of up available on a 0 MOA base. That will get you well past 800 yds. with a 308 Win.

The PST is variable power in a few different ranges of mag.

I have been checking it out on midway, just wanted to see if there were some others that I might not of seen yet. Thanks for your help

The new Weaver 3-15 mil/mil FFP is looking like a good scope from here

    Re: need some help

I have a SS 10x42HD, great glass, solid construction, great price point, but the only downside, which is personal preference, is that it only comes with the mildot reticle. If I'd known I wasn't going to dig the dots, I'd probably have waited for a PST...I much prefer my Leupold's TMR for anything past 400y.

Sightron S3's are nice, SS 10x HD and then there are the Leupold mark 4's, PST's look sweet but got a nasty wait time right now, if you keep an eye out you can get a great deal on scopes in the for sale section of the site.

All around $900 (if you can find them)

    Vortex PST FFP MIL/MIL 6-24
    Vortex PST FFP MIL/MIL 4-16 (OK, $850)

BUSHNELL Elite Tactical FFP MIL/MIL (NEW 2011)
W/extra 5 mil elevation for this year.
