Hey,

I am thinking about getting into reloading once I get back from this deployment in about a month. Im reading up on it as I can, but can someone point me in the right direction on a good starter kit that has pretty much everything I am going to need. Im looking to reload .308 as well as some other calibers possibly. Thanks for the help.

Re: New to Reloading

I started out about 30 years ago with a kit from RCBS that was good for a starter. You are doing the wright thing by asking questions. Also read as much as possible about reloading.

Re: New to Reloading

The Lee kit is what I started with. I have replaced the scale with a digital but I still use the rest of the components. They work well for the volume I do. I actually enjoy using it. I don't really have to fiddle with anything and the powder measure is pretty accurate even with Varget.

The RCBS RockChucker II or Lee Classic Cast are better presses, but the Lee that comes in the Anniversary kit still does everything I ask it to.
