I have a 10/22 TD and saw a post on rimfire central about a guy who machined a bull barrel for it. I know there will be those who say why in the world would you do that? Defeats the purpose of the gun. I did it because its bad ass. Plain and simple. I am not as talented as the other gentleman that did it but I do know some folks that are so... why the hell not. I love to shoot .22lr and this is a real fin gun to shoot.
So anyway, here are a few pics. I'd like to polish the barrel and then wait to see if anyone comes out with a replacement stock. If not, I will just stick with this one for the time being. If you haven't seen the other, it looks great with a custom hogue over molded stock. I haven't made it that far yet.
Figured I would share.
It is actually well balanced. The "muzzle brake" is simply a thread protector for the moment. I typically shoot suppressed so its really just there for protection. Doesn't look all that bad though.
