    1416 T6 M Custom Shop Model
    ANSCHÜTZ 1416 T6M

Starting out with the 1416 HB repeating rifle fitted with the excellent 5098 trigger, we epoxy bed the barreled action into a Manner's T6 stock and then add the extended magazine release, upgraded hex screws, and oversized green or black aluminum bolt knob.

We will be making these in small batches, and because they are Custom Shop models, these can be purchased directly.

    Upgrades
    • Epoxy bedding with front pillar and rear supporting steel rod.
    • Trigger & bolt tune.
    • Manners T6 stock.
    • Extended magazine release.
    • Custom Shop oversized green or black aluminum bolt knob, extended magazine release, hex-keyed action screws.
    Specifications
    • Barrel Length: 23" heavy barrel without front dovetail
    • Caliber: .22 lr
    • Weight: 7 lbs, 7 oz.
    • Action: Bolt-action repeater with 5-shot magazine.

This rifle comes as NIB from the factory, carries full warranty, and is accompanied by a signed certificate.

Congrats on the purchase. The 18" threaded barrel version was on my wish list, but ended up with another rifle. Get a scope mounted and go have some fun. 22lr sure is addictive though, especially when the guy next to you can't hit the gong and 200 yards with a centerfire and you're going 5 for 5 and he just looks at you like &*^%$*^&% how are doing that with a 22lr

I'd certainly go with something that focuses down to 25 yards or less. Some of the matches we have shoot a few targets at 25 yards. The scopes I'm seeing are the Athlons a lot. I've got a Nightforce SHV ffp that matches the reticle on my long range rifle. I think it is 4-14 and I'm on 10-12 power a lot.
The other scope I was looking at was the Gen II PST but couldn't get one. I still have one in order but will probably sell it when it comes because I'm liking this Nightforce ok.

I recently got behind a Athlon Helos 6-24x50, it impressed me to say the least. Killer scope for the price!

I run a bunch of Athlon Talos BTR's and Argos BTR's on PCP air rifles, 22's and a centerfire. They are great cheap scopes.

Nice rimfire BTW! My favorite is a Anschutz 1827F.

Well, the new rifle is here.....looks really nice, and an amazingly light trigger.......now for a scope.

My question is what is this rail......groves machined on top of this receiver.....I am not a rimfire shooter, got a 10/22, and and an old JC Penney single shot somewhere.

I need to mount a scope, and Anchutz will be more than happy to sell me a set of rings, but what are my other options for mounting a scope on this rifle?

    thanks for any help.....

That's a dovetail groove. You can attached rings directly to it, or attache a scope rail to it and then attach weaver/picatinny rings to the rail.

I use an SWFA SS 3-15 with Mil Quad reticle. It has unparalleled tracking ability and a huge amount of elevation correction plus 10 more mils of holdover on the reticle. It is rugged, has clear glass and as stated; tracks like nothing else at this price point.

It sits on my Annie 64 MPR.

I have enough correction for 200 yards...maybe 300 but have not shot it beyond 200. I use Kelbly dovetail rings mounted directly to the dovetail rail. I hate further interfaces unless absolutely necessary but YMMV.

I wanted to mount a scope on a 54 Super Match. These guys had the best solution for me www.jnpgunsprings.com. They have an insert that slides over the 11mm dovetail and only raises the base .06". It will not mar the top of the action and is specifically made for Burris Signature Zee Rings. If your not familiar with the rings, they have inserts that allow you to build in up to thirty moa.

The inserts for the dovetail are only $21.00 and with the Burris rings provide an elegant, flexible, low cost solution.

I've got the same set up, if you look close you can see the 11mm dovetail slide over base that I mounted, I went with the Kinneys #64 Pic rail with 0 MOA since my MR-10 still has 15 mils of usable come up with a 100yd zero, plus another 10 with the reticle if needed, should "safely" get me to 400yds just by dialing... I also have a very similar set up with my CZ455 tacticool (rifle behind the Anschutz) but the CZ's receiver wasn't tapped like the Anschutz. They also make a 20MOA canted base, the standard price is around 49.00.

Get the 20moa base...better to have it and not need it. 100yrds will get easy very quickly and youll want to do farther if you have the space. With any of the modern scopes youll have plenty of travel that 20moa wont push the tube so far up you degrade sight quality with 50yrd zero.

very nice rifle...been eye balling one for a while.

Diversified Innovative Products (DIP) makes excellent scope rails for Anz, CZ, & Savage. I would highly recommend getting the 25MOA rail AND the oversized bolt handle:

Also, the best price on 10round magazines can be found at Champions Choice. Buy as many as you can afford. A few years back these were $90-$95 each!

Also, the 1416 is a great barreled action with the 5098 trigger group combined with the Manner's T6 stock makes for an awesome rifle, enjoy!! You will get bored shooting at 50yds & 100yds, 150yds-300yds will become your addiction. :)

I was able to snag one of the 18" threaded barreled actions last year in a slightly different stock. ;)

I've been looking at some bench rest scopes.......I like the idea of 1/8 MOA adjustments.......any pros or cons on this idea?.......any recommendations on a bench rest scope?
