yes I would like it with more information in the reticle, BUT the new 1-6 exceeds my expectations in many ways just the way it is now. Even if I did not know the they were going to continue making improvements.
Even a 9 year Old can make a hit at 500 yards with only one quick reference with me showing him the reticle and what ladder line to hold for 500 yards. us calling the wind wrong was the only reason his first two shots did not correct.
The wind was variable and shifting, his Dad in the photo was spotting for him and his smile still comes up ever time the shot is talked about. </div></div>
I am glad it works for your needs, and damn happy to see a young man getting brought into our pastime. Good job all around.
Just surprised that Vortex chose to come to market without having a mil option at least close to being ready. I understand (somewhat)the marketing behind the partnership with Mr. Miculek, but from what I know, I thought mil/mil was more common than MOA. Just seems logical.
But on a more happy note, it seems that the general population is really pleased with this optic, which is what I was waiting to hear. I handled one of these at the NRA show and was very impressed.
I hope the red dot is as functional in daylight as a T1 or similar. That, plus being able to dial up to 6x would make it just about a perfect optic for both my 16" HCS Recce, as well as my 8.2" Noveske SBR.
