No, I am talking about the SS 10x, NOT the 3-9. the 3-9 is $600... the scopes I'm talking about are both exactly half that price.

I'm not surprised to hear that, but I was looking to spend $300 unfortunately.

But the SS 10x glass is not as good as the SS 3x9 glass. Between the Weaver and the 10x SS, I give the edge in glass to the SS - but I have an older SS circa 1998 or so, the later ones might be quite a bit better.

Thanks for your help. I just looked at the weaver again and someone mentioned they got the scope based on advice here on the hide and said they were happy with it. I hope I don't run out of adjustment as I just ordered a 20 MOA picatinny for my .308. I don't need it, but everyone here said a flat base has no benefits... guess thats not quite true lol. Might be ok anyway though.
