Hello everyone! I am both new to the site and need a little help. I have a DTA bullpup with a 300 win mag 18" conversion kit. For the life of me I cannot get this rifle to shoot. I have tried a couple different powders (RL-19, H1000, Retumbo) and have also tried 168 grain bullets and 208 grain bullets. The best groups I can get out of this rifle or just over 1 inch. I have pretty much narrowed the problem down to vertical stringing. The windage of my groups for the most part is dead on but the elevation is where everything falls apart. I have called the company and they asked me a lot of questions but don't provide me much in the way of solutions. They were also kind enough to blame my ability to shoot. I also own an AR 10 and I shoot it the same day each time I go to the range. It has a light profile barrel and seems to outshoot the desert tech rifle every single time. Admittedly I don't have a lot of experience with 300 Win mag but I have shot 338 Laupa and 300 RUM with a lot of success. I have only been reloading for about 18 months so please speak to me like a 5 year old when making reloading suggestions
Also I occasionally chrono my loads and they are pretty consistent +/- 20fps which I don't think would be near enough to cause any vertical stringing at 100 yards.
