I just wanted to stop and say howdy to all. I am a member to other gun fourms, but just joined here.

Pistols and the AR platform are my first love, but I just got into long range shooting due to my employment. I never thought this was as addicting as an AR, but I was way wrong.

This looks like the place to get all the info I need. Now I just need advice for an urban sniper type weapon.

Welcome. As a LEO, one of your best assets is other departments and also the American Sniper Association. Competitions are another great asset to you for interaction with other shooters and MIL/LEO snipers.

By the way, not much different between weapons used for urban and otherwise. Get something you can shoot and move with effectively, then keep shooting to improve your efficiency.
