Anyone have any first hand experience with one of these compared to say a Leupold MK4 12-40? I had never heard of them until today, and a friend whos a few states away made some pretty impressive claims about them. Looking for jack of all trades, master of none spotting scope with a reticle. Most of its life would be fairly stationary spotting out to 1,500, maybe further if my buddy finishes his 300 NM. Some PRS/team style shooting events, and very limited LR hunting (not a lot of humping gear). This looks fairly impressive, and the company is a US DOD supplier as well as a major supplier to the Canadian military.

I have a pretty limited experience with them. Was only looking through it for about 5-10 minutes at Shot Show. Glass was subpar, as are most of their products. The Mk4 is way better, in my opinion. But theres way better options than the Mk4 out there, very few with a mRad reticle though.

Primo glass with a mil reticle is borderline unicorn dust seems like. Anytime someone tells me they found a steal of a deal that's as good as something twice as expensive, I get a little skeptical lol. Thanks for the feedback.

I would have zero confidence with anything with the Newcon name on it. Rangefinder I owned was garbage.
