Re: Newest AR build

Glad you guys like it!

This rifle weighs 9lbs loaded and the center of gravity is just behind the front edge of the magwell so its swings very nicely and the weight distribution plus the FSC556 compensator should result in very tame recoil, even for a long-stroke piston AR.

Re: Newest AR build

Nice. I am curious to hear your thoughts on the PWS long stroke piston. I wonder if the impulse is less than shorter stroke designs, say LWRC's piston or POF. I have a POF and find it very slightly more than a comparable DI AR. Congrats and happy shooting.

I have limited experience with piston ARs however my impression of recoil is the long-stroke feels a bit smoother than the short-stroke but a touch more than a DI.

How do you like the Magpul ACS stock compared to the LMT SOPMOD stock?? They look very similar.</div></div>

They're very similar however I do prefer the ACS for two reasons: Cost and easier access to storage compartments.
