Newish Member from Florida

Hi All... I originally joined Sniper's Hide about 8 years ago when I was building a 5.56 SPR... I took a 7 year hiatus while shooting USPSA and SCSA Steel Challenge... Still shoot both of them, but their recent addition of PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) division has brought me back to shooting rifles again... I plan to start shooting PRS.

Planning to start PRS with my SPR and then buy a Remington 700 in 6.5 Creedmoor... or maybe build one with a McMillan-type stock... Not very familiar with Remington 700 actions, so I might have a few questions...

Welcome from NW Florida. I'd recommend going Tikka vs Rem 700 for higher quality, but it's highly probable you'll be going down the custom build route in no time if you spend enough time around here.

Thanks... I haven't really heard much about Tikka rifles before now, but will check them out.

I agree about your custom rifle comment... Still have a lot to learn before going down that road though.
