Rifle Scopes Nf atacr f1 5-25x56 mil c availability

Emailed nf, this was their response today:

"Thank you for contacting Nightforce Optics.

At this time, we do not have an exact date, but we do expect for them to begin shipping this spring.

Please let us know if we may be of further support."

The dealer I spoke to hasn't replied.

Man I wish we had a time frame, kinda wanting to pull the trigger on a new optic, the waiting game is so hard

I was in the same boat, waiting for this reticle. But then Optics Planet put the S&B on sale, and now I have a new 5-25 on the way for $500 less than an ATACR.

I emailed Nightforce yesterday about the Mil-C reticle in the ATACR 4-16 F1 and got this response:

"Hello and thank you for contacting Nightforce Optics.

At this time, we have no pending releases of this configuration. However, we will forward this correspondence to our innovations group so they know it has been requested.

Please let us know if we may be of further support.

Regards,
Technical Support, Customer Service
Nightforce Optics, Inc"

I looked for the sale on optics planet and couldn't find it, do you have a link?

Here is the link to the Optics Planet deal: http://www.opticsplanet.com/schmidt-bender-5-25x56-pm-ii-lp-riflescope.html

That link will show $2750, but if you use the coupon code RS11 it brings the price down to $2447. It looks like Optics Planet is now sold out, but you can still order them at that price. I would recommend going to EuroOptic. They will match the $2447 price, plus they have them in stock (and they are a Hide supporter).

I thought the current S&B scopes were a hit or a miss? But I may have to find out if I can find one that works.

That has not been my experience. Can you be more specific? I have bought two 5-25s in the last year and both are exactly what you would expect from S&B.

Edit: And considering the updated S&B warranty information provided by Lowlight in another thread (now 20 years in the U.S.), you can buy with confidence.

Turret and tracking issues, tunneling, etc.

Tunneling has always been there in the 5-25 below 7x, and I don't consider it a problem. You could consider it a 7-25, which isn't a huge deal. I rarely go below 15x. If you really need 5-7x, consider a different scope.

Tracking issues: Never an issue on my 3 S&Bs.

Turret issues: Never an issue on my scopes (all DT, non-MTC turrets).

That is awesome. As I said, they have been a hit or a miss. It's one of the reasons fewer people are buying them. I think LowLight posted about it some time ago. I will try to look for that thread.
