Rifle Scopes NF BEAST paralax play/slop

I have a new NF Beast and after playing with it for a few months I have decided that there must be something wrong with the parallax adjustment, it will turn almost a quarter turn in each direction before the parallax starts adjusting.
I have to new NF ATACRS and they adjust as soon as you touch the knob. Anybody else with a beast that can confirm I have a problem or that it is just built that way?

That's an issue. Is the cap tight?

yes the cap is tight, it's not like my other NF scopes at all... I think I will take it back down to MHS when I am down there next and see what they say, I hate to send it back right now, with hunting season starting a few days
