Greeting from the High Desert in the gun lovers state of CA.
Obviously like my weapons, a variety of handguns, shotguns and ARs (10 and 15). Built both ARs.
Visited the site on numerous occasions and found it to be quite informative in that the discussions are helpful to those in need of advice when they have an issue they cant solve or just to bs about the topic.
Like to reload. Been out of it for a while, but getting back into it. Got all the necessary equipment, components to do all my handguns and ARs.

Looking forward to discussion when I am knowledgeable in the topic. For sure not an expert, but have some experience and will share when able.

Got extraction problems right now with the AR10 which I will ask for help on the next post.

Welcome,

Must be nice to drive 5 minutes outside of town and be able to shoot as far as you would like although, this time of year its a little toasty out there. Baker is another good area to shoot

Thanks for the welcome. Yea, it is nice to just drive out of town and shoot. Usually go right off the 15 on Hodge Rd. Takes about 10 minutes to get a little west of the interstate into a suitable area. Good for handgun, shotgun and rifle. It has been a little warmish and starting early in the morning helps. Baker is about the same as here. Oh well, what do you do? Got to go scratch the itch regardless.

I shoot out that way as you can easily go 2k or more with no issues (trees or other people) for miles. I live about 100 miles from you so I don't go all the way out to Barstow area but once you get past Hesperia/Victorville area the land opens up and finding a place to shoot is rather easy. We have a newer range close to me that is suppose to be 1k+ so I will check them out hopefully this fall. I am so busy with getting my dissertation done that shooting is suspended for the next few months which is good as its too damn hot out here anyway.
