First, dial the mag on the ranging magnification; 10x for the 2.5-10, 15x for the 3.5-15 or 22x on all the higher mag scopes. Then take the target in inches, multiply it by 100, then divide that product by the number of MOA lines it fits in. Actually, the real equation is: (inches x 95.5) / MOA, but it is easier to just round it up to 100 so you can do it quickly in your head. </div></div>
Thats it? Wow, so, if i have a target that is 18" and it fits in say 6 hash marks, my target is roughly 300 yards.
50mm or 56mm objective? Will be mostly punching paper, May do some hunting with this rifle. I may build another, that is lighter.
