What is considered "better" is what one may be using now?

Current I2 Gen 3 gear is pretty much state of the art.

Yes - make blueberries a part of your regular diet. Numerous studies demonstrate that the nutrients in blueberries improve visual acuity in low light; improve recovery of darkness-adjusted vision following exposure to glare; and promote more rapid adjustment of vision between variable lighting conditions.

If speaking to improving the performance of night vision equipment that uses light-intensification technology; one approach is to apply thermal imaging overlay. Night vision typically works to detect and amplify near-IR and mid-IR wavelengths. Thermal imaging detects and amplifies far-IR wavelengths which are associated with heat signature. The AN/PSQ-20 is an example of the most current application of the thermal overlay technology in an integrated product development. Other devices exist as add-ons to retrofit thermal imaging overlays onto night vision devices.

Only the military strength ones (Class 3 and 4), which are prohibited by the FDA for civilian consumption. They have a tendency to make brown eyes blue. Class 1, "brown eye safe" blueberries are coming soon, however. One caveat: there is one type of brown eye for which it is pretty well documented that any type of blueberries will be ... ahem ... blue in and blue out. Don't be that type of brown eye.

Re: Night vision enhancement

Thanks for the advise. I was looking for some type of supplement or pill to take that could improve my vision at night, the ones I have found through my own research are Lutein, Bilberry, Night Eyes, and a few other generic supplements. Has anyone ever tried any of those?

Re: Night vision enhancement

While the stuff in blue berry's and Night Eyes does promote healthy eyes, you can never get your eyes to "grow night vision". Our eyes just don't work that way.

I took something similar to Night Eyes that was recommended to me by my eye Dr. (not to help with night vision) and it did give me a slightly crisper image in the day but nothing at night.

If you need to see in the dark save your penny's and buy night vision either that or find a cat with an organ donor card and see that it has an accident.

Looks promising. Ill let you know how it works. </div></div>

I'll let you know how it works, someone goes around talking about the stuff, and then you make posts saying it's great and all along, it's really dodgy marketing.

Bikegunner, I don't believe your intent is honorable in these posts. You also make similar posts on other forums. Even the candlepower forums.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. THIS IS VIRAL ADVERTISING FOR DODGY-SOUNDING STUFF...

Yeah, I'm kind of doing the rounds calling this guy out on different forums...

Honorable or not I tried some of this and it does seem to have some effect. Been taking one a day for about 2 weeks now and what Ive noticed first, is in daytime, transition from light to shadow while driving. Seems to increase the speed with which the muscles work and allows quicker transition. Seem to notice a SLIGHT improvement during the night. Could be wishful thinking. The daytime is for sure though.
