Nightforce ATACR question

I noticed that few days ago when I was laying behind my rifle and grabed the ocular lens to change power on my Nightforce I noticed a little shift in crosshair. So then I got the rifle mounted in the vice and grab ocular piece and moved it around and the crosshair was moving around anybody noticed that with their Nightforce? Tried my buddies NSX was doing the same thing. I called Nightforce and they said they never heard of that problem. Any one noticed that?

I am not a scope tech but what I do know(or think I know) about the contruction of of those scopes it would be impossible to move the recticle by pulling on the back of the scope.

You might see things shift a hair, but the crosshairs should still point to the same spot on the target. If not, it should be easy enough to see if it makes a difference. Shoot a 5 shot group changing power incrementally for each shot. If it still produces a good group, there's no problem.

I am running a NF ATAC-R and an NXS and have not seen this issue with either and I am like most here and use the scope alot.

My Schmidt does this - I called and they stated that "It was within spec"
