Rifle Scopes Nightforce reticle change?

Re: Nightforce reticle change?

I believe that all of the higher end manufacturers offer the service, although their prices probably differ by a wide margin. I do know that Nightforce and Swarovski will do it and have heard of USO and Premier doing it. Wouldn't be surprised if Hensoldt and S&B offer the same.

BTW, it has taken NF as long as a week to return an email, but you do have to download their form from their site and get an RMA.

Re: Nightforce reticle change?

Has to go right back to NF. There is a link on their website under 'library' for factory returns with prices. The link appears broken or I would have linked it for you. Nobody else does it. PR makes their own scopes now. When I got the turret upgrade, I had to call CS a couple of times to get a return authorization, other than that, CS was great and they under estimated and over delivered which I appreciate. It's not cheap. You would, probably, be better of posting on the WTT section.

Re: Nightforce reticle change?

Currently Nightforce has suspended all scope modification services until September 2011. Due to overwhelming demand for our product and our unwillingness to sacrifice quality for faster delivery times, we have decided to suspend this service to concentrate on delivering scopes to our stocking dealers. There will be a notice posted on the website in the very near future advising the above.
Cost for the reticle change is $250 for a second focal plane scope and $400 for the front focal plane F1's when those services do resume.
Nightforce apologizes for this inconvenience and would like to ask for your understanding while we grow to meet these demands.

WOW...that REALLY SUCKS! I was wanting to have my NP-R2 swapped out for the NP-R1. Guess I won't be having that done anytime soon.

I guess we all know more than we did this morning. That kinda bites for us, but it sounds like they have all the business they can take. Good for them. (not necessarily for prices)
