Gents,

I'm looking for a top of the line spotting scope that I can clearly see out to 1500 yards with. I have a bunch of NightForce optics and love them. Thinking about the TS-82, but wanted to get some feedback from people who have used it first hand. If someone has another spotter that they love and recommend please tell me about it. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Clark

I am fairly certain that Meopta is making that scope for NF. I researched this about a month ago, and as soon as I scrounge up the money I will pull the trigger on the Meopta S2 82 Angled. It performs right up there with the high end Swaro spotter, and for less money. Lots of reviews out on it as well. You will save about 500-600$ going with the Meopta….and its the same scope. how much is the "NF" name worth to ya?

I was just elk hunting with an experienced guide who has a Swarovski HD 20-60x spotter. I have the non-HD 20-60x model. He told me that he was testing spotters side by side with all of the high end scopes and the Nightforce at long distances and difficult conditions was significantly better than all including his HD Swarovski which is pretty darn good. I have continued to use my Swarovski as I couldn't justify buying another one. Thinking of ordering one.

I have owned and used the Meopta for about a year and a half and couldn't be happier. Mine has a 30-60 eyepiece which has an amazing FOV, but you may be wanting the 20-70 eyepiece which sacrifices a little field field of view for more magnification. I've not needed greater magnification than 60x. The resolution on theses scopes is crisp. You won't be sorry for going this route.
