Has anyone gotten their mitts on one of these? I've been thinking about getting a Nighthawk for a while and since they've got one made for shooting suppressed, I thought this rig might fit the bill. Here's a link: Nighthawk Tactical 1911 AAC.

Held one in a shop awhile back with a suppressor. Very nice. Can't remember which suppressor, Gemtech maybe but don't quote me on that. The sights lined up perfectly over the top of the suppressor. Anything Nighthawk makes is superb.

i haven't heard one suppressed but handled one at a lgs. it's very nice. like all nighthawks it racks smoothly and has a great trigger. i don't care much for the scallops or whatever they are on the front strap, i'd rather traditional checkering, but overall it's a beautiful firearm. i wish i knew what spring they used in it, as i am getting a barrel fitted for my MC Operator and would like to know what works and what doesn't.

I'm getting the feeling that there just aren't too many of these Nighthawks out there right now. It looks like a great package, and Nighthawk makes some superb 1911s. I too dislike the cuts on the top of the slide, but function always trumps form for me. Since I've wanted to get a Nighthawk for a while, this model is pretty tempting... but for the price tag.

I have one in .45 and run it with an AAC Tirant. Love the combo. Headed to the range shortly to put some more rounds down range. So far no issues at all. Thankfully I picked it up before the price jump.

I havent had too much trouble shooting it dry. Shot it wet one time and thats all it took for that. I had it all over my face and all over the gun.

I'd love to see some groups... I just pulled the trigger on one, should have it in a couple weeks.
