I recently purchased a howa m1500 that came with a Nikko Stirling Diamond 4-16x50 scope. I am having a hell of a time removing the illumination reticle cap to access the battery on the left side of the scope where the parallax/illumination adjustments are. I ended up snapping the plastic adjustment key that came with the scope because its so tight. I have searched everywhere for info on this. Am i an idiot or should it be this difficult to remove a battery cover?
